TL;DR
HR Business Partner (Employee Relations) (HR/Aerospace): Executing people strategies to retain talent and coaching employees and managers on HR policies with an accent on employee relations investigations and organizational optimization. Focus on navigating a high-paced engineering environment and ensuring strict compliance with ITAR regulations.
Location: Not a remote or hybrid position; must be based in or relocate to Redmond, WA
Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

What you will do
- Respond to employee inquiries and complaints, providing guidance on employee relations and performance management.
- Partner with senior leaders on workforce analytics, organizational optimization, and leadership development.
- Collaborate with HR functional experts in recruiting, compensation, and benefits to optimize programs for client groups.
- Facilitate internal transfers and promotion opportunities while conducting exit interviews to support retention.
- Assist in the creation and documentation of HR policies, programs, and processes.
- Manage employee files and process HR transactions using Workday.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of human resources experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, or asylee per ITAR regulations.
- Ability to work onsite in Redmond, WA (relocation required if not local).
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Ability to travel to other locations.
Nice to have
- Experience in engineering, production, or manufacturing environments supporting both exempt and hourly workforces.
- Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, and/or UltiPro.
- Proven success in independently handling complex employee relations issues.
