Senior People Business Partner (Aerospace)

Location: On-site five days per week at the San Jose headquarters, California, United States

Salary: $145,000–$180,000 base pay annually

What you will do

• Partner with Engineering leadership to align People strategies with technical roadmaps and business objectives.
• Support organizational design, headcount planning, and talent strategy for a rapidly growing engineering organization.
• Manage employee relations matters and coach managers on leadership effectiveness and team health.
• Collaborate with People Centers of Excellence to deliver programs tailored to technical teams.
• Use attrition, engagement, and performance analytics to guide leadership decisions.
• Execute employee-lifecycle processes, improve systems, identify automation opportunities, and maintain compliance and confidentiality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to build data-driven business cases and influence senior leadership.
• Experience managing high-volume, complex workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, follow up on a broad range of issues, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability to work in-office five days per week in San Jose with real-time collaboration and high visibility.
