TL;DR

Senior People Business Partner (HR/Aerospace): Driving organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies for the engineering organization with an accent on scalable processes and operational excellence. Focus on aligning people strategies with technical roadmaps and using people analytics to influence leadership decisions in a high-growth environment.

Location: Must be based on-site in San Jose, California (5 days per week)

Salary: $130,800 - $163,500

What you will do

  • Act as a strategic consultant to Engineering leadership to align people strategies with technical roadmaps.
  • Drive organizational design, including team structures and headcount planning for efficient scaling.
  • Manage employee relations and provide leadership coaching to managers across all levels.
  • Collaborate with COEs (Recruiting, Total Rewards) to deploy tailored programs for technical teams.
  • Utilize people analytics to provide data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Innovate and scale HR processes to improve operational excellence throughout the employee lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
  • Must be based on-site in San Jose, California.
  • Unable to provide work visa sponsorship.
  • Proven ability to use data to build business cases and influence senior leadership.
  • Experience managing complex workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of confidentiality and ability to work independently.

  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Aerospace or Aviation industry experience.
