What you will do

• Serve as a strategic advisor to HR on complex employee matters, balancing legal requirements with organizational needs.
• Draft and continuously improve employment agreements, contractor agreements, and HR policies for Germany and other jurisdictions.
• Manage employment dispute resolutions and provide pragmatic counsel to the Group Counsel and HR teams.
• Lead the legal support for employee representation structures and manage interactions in compliance with local laws.
• Conduct group-wide analyses on labor law topics and harmonize employment policies across different countries.
• Represent the company in communications with German regulatory and government bodies.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Law degree with excellent academic credentials; German bar admission is an advantage.
• 6+ years of post-qualification experience in employment and labor law with hands-on dispute resolution experience.
• In-depth knowledge of German employment law and experience with employee representation structures.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters and develop effective legal communication strategies.
• Experience in both in-house and international law firm environments is preferred.
