What you will do

  • Advise multidisciplinary engineering and project teams on intellectual property topics.
  • Manage and develop the IP portfolio for assigned systems and product pipelines.
  • Perform patent database searches for patentability, freedom-to-operate, and non-infringement assessments.
  • Coordinate invention harvesting and translate technical concepts into patentable subject matter.
  • Draft and manage patent applications, official actions, and oppositions.
  • Develop trade secret protection strategies and assist in technology license agreement negotiations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Physics, or a comparable technical field.
  • More than seven years of professional experience in intellectual property, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Sound knowledge of patent law, industrial property processes, and IP portfolio management.
  • English proficiency at C1 level (German or Spanish is considered an advantage).
  • Ability to work with complex technical systems and communicate IP topics to non-experts.
