TL;DR

Business Development Manager (SaaS): Driving new business growth for a product intelligence platform with an accent on high-value SaaS sales and relationship building. Focus on executing a structured sales approach using MEDDPICC to achieve revenue targets and deliver tailored product demos.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the Manchester office)

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 + OTE (£70,000-£90,000)

A scale-up SaaS business providing a product intelligence platform that delivers consumer data to manufacturers and retailers.

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle to deliver a world-class experience for prospective clients.
  • Establish professional relationships with key personnel in target organizations.
  • Conduct highly bespoke interactive demos tailored to specific customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal support, service, and management resources to meet performance objectives.
  • Build comprehensive proposals derived through a discovery process and demonstrate clear ROI.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience as a new business seller.
  • Essential experience in SaaS, MarTech, data research, or insight industries.
  • Proficiency with the MEDDPICC sales framework and a structured sales approach.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the Manchester office (2-3 days per week).
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas (target of £300,000 per annum).

  • Experience transitioning from an SDR role to a new business closer role.
