TL;DR

Senior Channel Account Manager - Service Provider (East Region): Pro-actively pursue revenue objectives by selling cloud services through channel partners to SMBs with an accent on business development, marketing execution, and sales enablement. Focus on building territory plans, driving pre-sales to post-sales activities, and navigating carrier leadership to achieve sales targets.

Location: Remote, USA

Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000 / year

What you will do

  • Prospect for new business and sales opportunities through the Partner Channel.
  • Conduct sales presentations demonstrating voice and data solutions.
  • Participate in sales and technology training.
  • Provide highest standard of customer service through the sales cycle.
  • Partner with internal departments for successful pre- and post-sale experiences.
  • Navigate carrier marketing, sales, support, engineering, and product leadership to achieve targets.
  • Support Carrier Channel Management team to advance sales objectives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Telco/Carrier Channel Sales, outside sales, and/or account management
  • Demonstrated track record in sales, partner-led sales, and executive relationship building.
  • Strong grasp of solution and value-based selling, preferably in enterprise business applications.
  • Superior oral/written communication and listening skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills for matrixed environment.
  • Solid understanding of carrier departmental structure and network operations.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience selling carrier products (UCaaS, SIP, MPLS, SD-WAN, Contact Center).
  • Willing to travel <50% of job
