VP, EMR Data Strategy and Alliances (Healthcare AI): Define and lead EMR data strategy for accessing structured clinical data at scale across partner networks with an accent on building alliances with EHR vendors like Epic and Cerner. Location: Fully remote (US-based preferred, participates in E-Verify) with up to 50% travel across the US and internationally
Salary: $250,000 - $280,000

What you will do
- Define vision, priorities, and roadmap for EMR data strategy to access structured clinical data at scale.
- Build and manage enterprise-level alliances with EHR vendors like Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner.
- Pursue data opportunities with health systems, IDNs, academic centers, QHINs, and intermediaries.
- Structure and negotiate data use agreements, API partnerships, and multi-party contracts with Legal.
- Embed clinical data access into commercial agreements and partner with Product/Engineering on integrations.
- Evaluate FHIR platforms, HIEs; recommend build-vs-partner; represent strategy to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 15+ years in EMR data or related fields
- Proven track record developing/closing strategic data/technology partnerships with complex healthcare organizations
- Deep knowledge of FHIR R4, HL7, major EHR ecosystems, platform-level access negotiation
- Experience with complex data agreements, HIPAA, BAAs, data governance
- AI/ML healthcare solutions, PACS/Imaging, clinical decision support, or data analytics experience
- Executive presence for C-suite engagement; strategic mindset linking data to clinical use cases
