Location: US Remote. Preference will be given to candidates in the MD/N.VA/DC area; travel approximately 1 day per week within this area is expected.

Salary: $180,000 – $230,000 plus commission and performance-based equity.

What you will do

• Represent the company at industry conferences, VA industry days, and partner events.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with program offices, specifically within VA OIT, VHA, and VBA.
• Collaborate with active delivery teams to maintain client intelligence and identify expansion opportunities.
• Vet and evaluate potential opportunities against strategic fit and win probability.
• Lead partner and teaming negotiations and manage the federal health BD pipeline.
• Support proposal development through RFP analysis and market research.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business development or partnership management within technology or consulting.
• Deep familiarity with the VA ecosystem and how procurement decisions are made within OIT, VHA, and VBA.
• Strong understanding of SDVOSB set-aside dynamics and VA-specific procurement vehicles.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Ability to travel approximately 1 day per week within the MD/N.VA/DC area.
• Proven ability to use AI-enabled tools in business development practices.

Nice to have

• Previous federal government service at VA, CMS, or similar agencies.
• Familiarity with joint venture structures, including SDVOSB and 8(a) mentor-protege.
• Experience with agile software development practices.
• Knowledge of HHS adjacent agencies.
