What you will do

• Provide strategic leadership for development initiatives, shifting to multi-year strategies for financing and partnerships.
• Monitor milestones and manage property managers/service providers for 372 Livonia lease-up and The Rise community programming.
• Lead transition of Brownsville Community Land Trust to independent entity, develop business plan for housing preservation.
• Spearhead homeownership preservation and long-term neighborhood housing plan.
• Advise on capital improvements for Gregory Jackson Center, collaborating with property manager and CFO.
• Manage budgets, capital funding, and administrative records for facilities and development.

Requirements

• Location: Brooklyn, NY
• 5+ years in affordable housing, mission-oriented real estate, or community development.
• Knowledge of housing finance required; experience with NY State/City and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programs a strong asset.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and use project management software.
• Cultural competence in diverse Black communities and passion for civic engagement.
