What you will do
- Own and drive the expense allocation methodology, refining models to improve scenario modeling and storytelling.
- Manage the application of allocation methodology across actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Maintain and automate driver-based allocation models using Anaplan.
- Analyze and reconcile STAT and GAAP expense results across all legal entities, profit centers, and cost centers.
- Collaborate with data management teams to enhance expense reporting views and downstream dashboards.
- Lead strategic expense analytic projects to provide critical insights for the Board and Executive Leadership Team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a track record of increasing responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or actuarial science.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience developing quarterly and annual expense forecasts.
- Strong expertise in GAAP and STAT technical accounting, expense allocations, and scenario modeling.
- Proficiency with Anaplan, SAP (PaPM, S/4HANA), MicroStrategy, and Tableau.
- Must be located in or able to work from Boston, New York, or Springfield.

- Master's degree (MBA, Finance, or Accounting).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, FSA, or FCIA.
