Senior Finance Manager (Corporate Finance)

Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reporting and coordinate monthly close activities with the corporate accounting team.
• Oversee FP&A through direct management of a Senior FP&A Analyst, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, scenario analysis, KPI tracking, and management and BOD-level reporting.
• Provide financial insights to Corporate Finance leadership and practice leaders to support decision-making, resource allocation, growth initiatives, engagement performance, and profitability.
• Manage work in progress and receivables with the billing and corporate accounting teams.
• Improve financial systems, reporting tools, automation, ERP processes, and reporting integration for newly acquired entities, including Workday optimization with IT and Finance leadership.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the Billing and FP&A teams while driving accountability, collaboration, efficiency, and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business major.
• 8+ years of experience in a professional services environment.
• Graduation from a top-tier undergraduate program or business school.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as Workday.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced communication and written skills.
• Strong expertise in financial and management reporting, and experience overseeing or partnering with FP&A functions including budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven leadership experience managing, leading, and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, presentation, and senior-leadership influencing skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic professional services environment, with meticulous attention to detail, strong time management, forward-looking thinking, and the ability to anticipate needs.
• Positive approach, highest-level customer and client service, and flexibility to adjust the work schedule based on client demands.
