IT Engineer (SaaS Support): Providing first-line IT support and leading automation projects for internal systems at a global SaaS company powering leisure venues with an accent on troubleshooting, hardware/software management, and infrastructure improvements. Focus on building automations with PowerShell/Python/TypeScript, system federation, and employee lifecycle processes using Entra ID, Google Workspace, and CrowdStrike.
Location: Sydney, Australia - hybrid role, required 4 days per week in Sydney office, with 1 day work from home flexibility and occasional after-hours support.

What you will do
- Act as first point of contact for ICT support in Sydney, troubleshooting hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
- Resolve or escalate service desk tickets, build knowledge base for self-service.
- Procure, configure, deploy hardware/software for new hires, manage IT asset register.
- Collaborate on system federation, infrastructure automations, and employee lifecycle processes including MDM and security.
- Evangelize CLI-based admin with Entra ID, Google Workspace, Atlassian; maintain preventative schedules.
- Identify, own, and drive system improvements and small-medium implementation projects.
Requirements
- Comfortable working 4 days on-site in Sydney office.
- 3+ years in IT support in high-growth environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills; automate-first mentality with PowerShell, Python, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on with CLI for Entra ID/Azure or Google Workspace; familiarity with RBAC/GBAC, MDM, IT infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of ITIL; excellent communication to explain tech to non-tech stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, team player with passion for technology and AI.
