Systems Support Specialist

TL;DR

Systems Support Specialist (IT Infrastructure): Providing level 1 and 2 systems support for a global broadcast production services provider with an accent on hardware troubleshooting, software deployment, and Active Directory management. Focus on maintaining system stability across multi-site environments and ensuring high standards of information security.

Location: Southbank (Melbourne), Australia. Must have the right to live and work in Australia. Hybrid (1 day work from home per week).

What you will do

• Serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting software, PC/Laptop hardware, printing, and phone issues in an Active Directory environment.
• Manage and resolve service desk tickets in a timely manner.
• Provide phone and in-person support for email, file systems, Windows/Mac desktop applications, and internal software.
• Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops for offices and mobile field units.
• Maintain and track company-owned hardware and software assets.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level application support and backup systems administration for multi-location infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must have the right to live and work in Australia.
• Technical or Bachelor’s degree in IS, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of PC and application support experience.
• Experience supporting both Microsoft and Mac operating systems and applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and troubleshooting network issues (LAN/WAN).
• Understanding of IP Phones and video conferencing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
