What you will do

  • Maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation devices, including PLCs, motors, and control systems.
  • Analyze electrical, mechanical, and process control issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot automated industrial machinery, including VFDs and motion control systems.
  • Install electrical control circuits based on provided electrical schematics.
  • Develop, maintain, and document preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with established safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Journeyman or LME Oregon Electrical license (or equivalent combination of certification and experience).
  • Ability to work 12.25-hour shifts on a two-week rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Operational knowledge of motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, and 3-phase power.
  • Experience troubleshooting various PLC platforms and motion control systems.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

Nice to have

  • AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology or an equivalent degree.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to use trend data and process test equipment for troubleshooting.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
