Salary: $160,000–$190,000 annually plus bonus

What you will do

• Act as a legal advisor for product development, strategy, and insurance regulatory compliance.
• Develop and draft contract language for policies, coverage enhancements, and endorsements for personal private auto programs.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory and compliance risks by monitoring industry developments and legislation.
• Review underwriting guidelines and standards to ensure legal accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with product teams to address state-specific issues for new and existing lines of business.
• Approve product and coverage-related marketing materials for compliance.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (California strongly preferred).
• 7–10 years of legal experience specifically in personal automobile products.
• Deep understanding of personal auto insurance products and state regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Must be based in one of the specified US states.
