Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

TL;DR

Production Supervisor (Manufacturing): Overseeing night shift operations for optics production with an accent on meeting production KPIs and leading a large team of technicians and operators. Focus on driving continuous improvement through Kaizen and TPM, managing machine utilization in SAP, and ensuring EHS compliance.

Location: Singapore (Onsite). Must be able to work permanent or rotating night shifts, including weekends.

What you will do

• Lead a team of 50+ operators and technicians to manage optics production during the night shift.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Planning teams to achieve KPIs including OTD, yield, scrap, and cost control.
• Perform MRB reviews for defective products and manage machine prioritization schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, Small Group Activities, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Manage administrative production tasks in SAP, including maintenance notifications and WIP reports.
• Oversee EHS compliance, including safety audits, chemical waste disposal, and facility-related reporting.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing teams of more than 50 operators/technicians.
• Ability to work permanent or rotating night shifts, including weekends.
• Strong leadership skills and a high sense of ownership.
• Knowledge of optics manufacturing processes is a significant advantage.
