What you will do

• Own and drive L4 escalation projects for in-fab repairs across the China customer base.
• Triage, prioritize, and sequence concurrent escalations across multiple customer sites based on urgency and impact.
• Investigate failure modes using tool logs and engineering data to isolate mechanical, electrical, optical, or software root causes.
• Provide real-time remote technical direction and step-by-step guidance to field repair engineers.
• Author technical deliverables, including Plans of Action (POAs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and validated repair procedures.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Reliability teams to develop permanent fixes and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Opto-Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of sustaining or support engineering experience with semiconductor capital equipment.
• Expertise in board-level troubleshooting (PCBAs) using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and DMMs.
• Hands-on experience with the alignment and repair of precision opto-mechanical assemblies.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple high-pressure escalations simultaneously.
• Fluent written and spoken English; working proficiency in Mandarin is strongly preferred.
