What you will do

• Architect and build the next generation of core access control and governance systems for a platform managing over 7 billion data points.
• Implement features for fine-grained permissions, auditability, policy enforcement, and metadata management.
• Develop data labeling and compliance tools across the multi-tenant data platform.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to drive the entire lifecycle from idea formulation to design and implementation.
• Build scalable, secure-by-default frameworks foundational to the company's infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with cross-functional software development, distributed data systems, and cloud platforms.
• Strong development background and proficiency in Python.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, access controls, and platform auditability.
• Proven track record of shipping and iterating on production-grade software components.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Francisco, CA.
