What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software to maintain and improve high-performance APIs.
• Collaborate with Machine Learning, Product, and Infrastructure teams to define system architectures and API specifications.
• Create implementation requirements and complexity estimates for new features.
• Promote technical excellence through rigorous code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Validate architectural assumptions using instrumentation and rapid prototyping.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience developing SaaS applications within a team environment.
• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
• Experience building SaaS backends and APIs using a variety of modern tools.
• Ability to translate abstract business requirements into concrete technical implementation plans.
• Strong reasoning skills regarding the behavior and performance of loosely-coupled distributed systems.
