Senior Software Engineer (Middleware)

Location: Remote or Hybrid (US Only)

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 + bonus

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain core services written in Go and Python.
• Lead agile development processes, code reviews, and technical strategy discussions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members to foster a culture of excellence.
• Proactively address technical debt and continuously improve the codebase and technical stack.
• Build scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant customer-facing features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Solid proficiency in Go, Python, or an equivalent programming language.
• Experience in API development and PostgresQL database design or SQL query performance optimization.
• Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (based on company benefit structures).

Nice to have

• Experience with Django, FastAPI, or other Python web frameworks.
• Experience with AWS or Azure services (EKS, RDS, S3, SQS, EC2, IAM).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and HashiCorp tools (Packer, Vault, Terraform).
