TL;DR

CFO (SaaS): Leading all core finance functions and strategic financial operations for an Operational AI platform with an accent on SaaS metrics, cash discipline, and operational rigor. Focus on optimizing ARR, ACV, and gross margin performance while partnering with the CEO and Board on capital allocation and long-range modeling.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the US), Seattle

Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 base per year + Equity

What you will do

  • Lead all core finance functions, including FP&A, accounting, cash management, financial controls, and board reporting.
  • Build a high-integrity financial operating cadence to improve forecast accuracy and organizational accountability.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on financial performance, capital allocation, and operating tradeoffs.
  • Drive visibility into SaaS metrics, including ARR, ACV, churn, and revenue quality.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and Operations on pricing, deal structure, and revenue recognition considerations.

Requirements

  • Proven finance leadership experience in a SaaS or software-enabled business, ideally in a growth-stage environment.
  • Experience as a CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leader.
  • Deep command of SaaS metrics and exceptional financial modeling and forecasting skills.
  • Strong fluency in enterprise contracts, pricing models, and procurement complexity.
  • Must be based in the US (as indicated by Washington State regulatory and benefit requirements).
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with a Board and investors.
