What you will do
- Establish departmental forecasting processes and perform regular variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
- Design and track organization-wide KPIs, focusing on critical SaaS/Tech metrics like CAC, LTV, Net Retention, and Burn Multiple.
- Build scalable financial models and planning frameworks to support rapid business growth.
- Lead annual and multi-year long-range planning (LRP) processes to align vision with execution.
- Partner with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing leaders as a "CFO for the Department" to manage headcount and OpEx.
- Prepare high-impact materials for Board of Directors meetings and support investor relations and M&A activities.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Deep understanding of GAAP accounting and the interaction between P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco or Los Angeles.

- Experience at fast-moving technology companies or startups.
- Familiarity with AI business models and scaling financial operations.
- Experience with fundraising and board reporting.
