What you will do

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI standards across all site activities.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific safety strategies and roadmaps with project leadership.
  • Engage field personnel to evaluate safety programs and address site-specific hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Co-facilitate safety trainings, weekly meetings, and testing sessions.
  • Provide technical guidance to foremen and managers on high-risk activities like heights and confined spaces.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s in EHS, Construction Management, or Engineering preferred)
  • OSHA 30 Construction (required), BCSP (ASP, CSP, or CHST) highly preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certified (trainer status preferred), valid driver’s license with clean record
  • 3+ years construction safety experience, preferably in electrical industry
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards for dynamic field environments
  • Physical ability to work outdoors, climb, lift 40 lbs, and handle heights/confined spaces
