What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Field Engineers for enterprise and commercial sales
- Partner with Account Executives on technical discovery, demos, evaluations, and PoVs
- Coach team in real-time during strategic engagements and complex technical evaluations
- Define and scale pre-sales methodologies, playbooks, demo environments, and frameworks
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and influence direction
- Drive operational rigor including resource planning, forecasting, and talent recruitment
Requirements
- 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles, including 2+ years leading Solutions/Field Engineering teams
- Experience with enterprise SaaS or developer-focused products in high-growth environments
- Strong technical background in software development tools, cloud platforms, and developer infrastructure
- Proven coaching through complex enterprise sales cycles and technical evaluations
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and execution skills
- Passion for AI-powered developer tools and workflows
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD tooling
- Work with AI-native developer platforms or productivity tools
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and developer governance
