What you will do

• Prepare and present reinsurance proposals including claims analysis, costs, terms, and conditions
• Negotiate insurance and reinsurance placements
• Maintain knowledge of reinsurance marketplace trends, regulations, and developments
• Develop relationships with clients and serve as primary contact for carrier audits
• Collaborate with claims, accounting, underwriting, and marketing teams
• Lead strategic analysis to identify opportunities and oversee internal reinsurance processes

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in P&C reinsurance operations, sales, or underwriting
• College degree (preferred)
• Technical knowledge of reinsurance markets, placements, wording, and coverage
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Analytical, math, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel
• Ability to travel up to 10%
