What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop software engineering employees to meet organizational goals and personal growth.
• Manage core HR processes, including performance reviews, compensation, and hiring of experienced and graduate-level talent.
• Identify and remove organizational and cultural impediments to enhance team performance and collaboration.
• Serve as a leader of the software engineering craft, establishing best practices and future technical direction.
• Collaborate across the technology team and other internal groups to identify and resolve organizational gaps.
• Foster a trusting, positive, and self-organizing team culture focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead self-organizing teams and drive organizational change through influence.
• Deep understanding of all SDLC disciplines, including Project Management, Requirements, Design, QA, and Deployment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for high-impact interaction with diverse audiences.
• Must be based in Cincinnati, OH
