TL;DR

SMB Account Executive (Security): Driving revenue growth by evangelizing secure and reliable open-source software solutions for SMB customers with an accent on building relationships with key decision-makers. Focus on executing sales plans, managing lead funnels, and conveying value propositions in the DevOps and cloud-native security space.

Location: Must be located in the Eastern timezone of the United States

Salary: $170,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Define and execute sales plans for the assigned Eastern US territory.
  • Forecast and exceed quotas using a combination of inbound and outbound leads.
  • Manage the sales funnel and track opportunities through CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering to optimize the sales cycle.
  • Analyze the competitive market to effectively communicate product differentiators.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience selling SaaS or Security products.
  • Must be located in the Eastern timezone of the United States.
  • Knowledge of compute platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tooling and CI/CD platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins) and the SDLC.
  • Proven track record of consistently overachieving sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in developer tools sales.
  • Startup experience.
  • Strong sales aptitude and fundamental understanding of the sales process.
