Salary: $105,000 - 120,000

What you will do

• Support network build out and deployments for C2BMC Test using SDDC Manager for patching and system maintenance.
• Configure NSX for distributed stateful firewalling, NAT, load balancing, and micro-segmentation.
• Design, install, upgrade, and migrate storage utilizing VMware vSAN.
• Migrate virtual machines and workloads from deprecated vSphere versions to VMware Cloud.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and root-cause analysis to ensure DoD compliance and reduce cybersecurity risks.
• Conduct daily system monitoring, backups, and application upgrades while documenting all changes in systems of record.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance are strictly required.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) required.
• 10+ years of general professional experience with 7+ years of directly related technical experience.
• Deep understanding of Foundational VCF Infrastructure including vSphere, NSX, and vSAN.
• Proficiency in Internet Protocols (DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL) and firewall configuration/troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline preferred.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or VMware VCTA/VCP/VCAP/VCDX.
• Experience with PIM, L2 and L3 multicast, and type I encryption devices.
• Knowledge of VXLAN, Juniper Apstra, VMware Aria, and RHEL Ansible.
• Programming and scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
