Principal Consultant - Energy Supply Chain (Energy)

TL;DR

Principal Consultant (Energy Supply Chain): Leading customer engagements and delivering strategic insights for energy clients with an accent on supply chain optimization and relationship management. Focus on overseeing project execution, managing C-Suite client interfaces, and identifying business development opportunities.

Location: Hybrid (office 2-3 days per week). Must be based in close proximity to Boston, Houston, New York, or Calgary.

Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 (base pay)

What you will do

• Lead project delivery for energy clients, ensuring high quality from analytics to final presentations.
• Manage client relationships at all levels, from C-Suite to technical engineering and business development teams.
• Oversee and coach junior members of the Supply Chain Consulting team to drive successful execution.
• Develop comprehensive work plans, objectives, and deliverables for project scopes.
• Track project progress, including revenue recognition and profitability metrics.
• Identify and partner with stakeholders to close new consulting service and product opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of experience in Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering.
• Experience within the Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and managerial skills with high-impact technical writing ability.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time.
• No visa sponsorship provided.
• Must be based near Boston, Houston, New York, or Calgary.
