What you will do

• Operate rough mill machinery including saws, planers, moulders, and ripsaws to fabricate lumber to specifications.
• Set up and adjust equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to verify tolerances.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following housekeeping and safety standards.
• Manage material flow by receiving, staging, and moving raw lumber and finished components.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machine issues and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience demonstrating performance competency.
• Proficiency in basic math, including counting, addition, subtraction, and simple measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical measurements and specifications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA (E-Verify participant).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Nice to have

• Advanced math or technical skills related to equipment setup (e.g., GD&T exposure).
