What you will do

• Lead full-lifecycle M&A transactions from investment thesis development through closing.
• Build and manage investment banking relationships to source proprietary deal flow.
• Identify and structure strategic partnerships, specifically for data acquisition to strengthen underwriting models.
• Develop proactive M&A strategies for both insurance MGA and claims TPA business units.
• Scope and negotiate large commercial deals involving strategic assets and data.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate development.
• Experience in Insurance or InsureTech strongly preferred; FinTech background acceptable.
• Proven experience managing deals end-to-end, including diligence, negotiation, and closing.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Ability to operate as an independent contributor in a high-growth startup environment.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA
