What you will do

• Develop and modify technical deliverables including structural models, drawings, and details using AutoCAD, MicroStation, PLS-CADD, and other digital tools.
• Apply engineering principles to create moderately complex design concepts and solutions for overhead transmission projects.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering professionals and technicians, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with codes and standards.
• Perform design calculations, material quantities, estimates, and review deliverables for accuracy.
• Coordinate with design teams, support field activities, and maintain schedules for project outputs.
• Proactively seek knowledge of latest technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in structural engineering technician roles.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, design practices, and tools like CAD, BIM, 3D modeling.
• Ability to handle difficult technical assignments and provide guidance to others.
• Complete pre-employment onboarding including background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
• Comfortable with office environment and occasional site visits involving physical tasks.

• Diploma, Certificate, or Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology.
