What you will do

• Lead the Marketing and Events Team, coordinating logistics, vendors, and on-site event needs.
• Oversee social media, maintain practice website, and develop marketing strategy.
• Plan and execute events, workshops, and Thrivent Community events.
• Manage team hours, conduct reviews, guide training, and handle hiring/onboarding.
• Lead weekly meetings, track action items, and ensure deadlines and compliance.
• Handle department calls, correspondence, reports, and cost records.

Requirements

• Administrative/secretarial experience desired.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Event planning experience and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing, coaching, and developing staff.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure legal compliance.
