TL;DR

Manager, Marketing Communications (Fintech): Developing and implementing programs to communicate business objectives, culture, and values with an accent on public relations and social media strategy. Focus on driving earned media coverage, increasing public profile in financial services, and establishing leadership as industry thought leaders.

Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (Hybrid). Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategic communications plans and PR strategies.
  • Manage the PR and Social Media team.
  • Create executive briefing materials and talking points for presentations and media interviews.
  • Maintain a speaker’s bureau for thought leadership and manage an industry awards program.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Investor Relations, Sales, and People teams to shape messaging.
  • Research and implement technical tools to drive efficiency around communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience (or 4+ years with an advanced degree).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role managing and developing employees.
  • Strong media relations expertise and professional storytelling skills.
  • Fluent written and oral English communication.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Nice to have

  • Previous experience within the financial services industry.
  • Experience in enterprise software/technology (SaaS) industries.
