What you will do

• Hire additional engineers focusing on diversity and inclusion, staff and structure team to meet business needs.
• Manage team to deliver high-quality software in fast-paced, agile environment.
• Make technology, infrastructure, architectural, and hiring decisions to scale.
• Evaluate trade-offs, prioritize tasks aligned with strategic initiatives and company goals.
• Collaborate with product, design, editorial, data science, and marketing teams on strategy and roadmaps.
• Brainstorm product ideas, stay close to codebase, hold 1:1s, provide feedback, help engineers advance careers, improve processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years managing engineering team
• Experience leading team building web and iOS/Android products
• Experience scaling small to medium/large team highly desired
• Experience with Javascript (React, Next.js, Node.js, Apollo/GraphQL), PHP (Wordpress), MySQL/DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, AWS
