TL;DR

Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Simulator Operator/Technician: Operate Predator Mission Aircrew Trainer System (PMATS) to generate MQ-9 training simulations for aircrew initial and recurring qualifications with an accent on maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. Focus on ensuring system availability, performing pre-flight/post-flight operations, and supporting customer training at OCONUS field locations.

Location: Arlington, TX (listed); OCONUS field service requiring 45 hours/week for 3 months, twice per year. Only U.S. citizens eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements. Must have or be able to obtain Secret Security Clearance. Fluency in English required.

What you will do

• Operate RPA simulators during customer training events, including console operations, pre-flight, and post-flight procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair issues on simulators and associated systems.
• Install hardware/software updates using documented procedures and track activities in maintenance management system.
• Handle logistics for parts, testing, validation, and housekeeping to maintain simulator standards.
• Apply knowledge from manuals to solve complex problems and train other technicians as needed.
• Provide customer service, comply with quality systems, and complete administrative/training tasks.

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent training; minimum 3 years direct simulator experience (1 year relative).
• Experience in Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR), Close Air Support (CAS), Aerial Interdiction (AI), and supporting IQT/MQT syllabus events.
• Knowledge of Windows, LINUX, UNIX environments; troubleshooting RPA systems; reading schematics/electrical diagrams; using diagnostic data.
• Ability to work independently in stand-alone environments with telephone support; role-play assets in scenarios.
• U.S. citizen; Secret Clearance or ability to obtain; fluency in English; available for overtime, on-call 24x7, and overseas travel.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+ certification.
