Director, PLM

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, with 3 days per week in the office. Candidates residing in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wisconsin are not being considered.

Salary: $226,100–$266,000 per year for San Francisco.

What you will do

• Define and lead the global PLM strategy as Oura expands into new markets, regulatory environments, and product categories.
• Own product data integrity, configuration management, part numbering, revision control, and intellectual property policies.
• Lead multi-level BOM management and synchronize product data across design hubs and manufacturing partners.
• Drive global ECO workflows, product release gates, data migrations, system integrations, and process improvements.
• Manage PLM software vendors, implementation partners, and the PLM CAPEX/OPEX budget.
• Champion AI integration and resolve complex technical data issues across the product release cycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership experience in high-growth, global corporations.
• Experience managing PLM as a business function and leading large-scale organizational change or digital transformation.
• Experience operating across multiple sites, cultures, and time zones.
• Ability to translate complex product data lifecycles into business-value narratives for C-suite stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of product data, global supply chains, contract manufacturing, and international logistics.
• Hands-on experience with BOM auditing, ECO processing, PLM system administration, data migration, and system integrations.
