Director of Materials Planning

Location: On-site in Coralville, IA, Boulder, CO, or Fargo, ND, United States; up to 15% travel required

Salary: $146,000–$190,000 annually, plus bonus or incentive pay

What you will do

• Lead global materials planning strategy across IDT operations to ensure material availability and reliable customer support.
• Own inventory policies, stocking strategies, planning parameters, and governance for more than $56 million in inventory across eight sites.
• Improve working capital, planning accuracy, inventory health, and On-Time Delivery performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop materials planning professionals.
• Serve as business lead for inventory and planning programs, including IMAG, PFEP, AI-enabled planning capabilities, and technology improvements.
• Partner with manufacturing, operations, commercial, finance, procurement, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in materials planning, supply planning, inventory management, supply chain, or operations.
• Management experience leading materials planning, supply chain, operations, or related teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Coralville, Boulder, or Fargo and travel up to 15%.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or CPIM certification.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled planning capabilities, advanced analytics, or planning technology improvements.
