What you will do

• Assess the manufacturability of new product designs in collaboration with Vehicle Systems Engineering.
• Conduct detailed supplier process audits and assessments to support supplier selection.
• Lead the Supplier Industrialization Roadmap (SIR) and manage product and process development activities.
• Oversee the APQP process from initial design through PPAP submission and start of production (SOP).
• Lead RCCA analysis, issue corrective actions, and ensure supplier process documentation is updated.
• Analyze incoming supplier part quality metrics using Cp/Cpk, Pareto, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Manufacturing within automotive, aviation, or medical device industries.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and improving quality systems.
• Proficiency in problem-solving techniques such as Six-Sigma, 8D, Pareto, and ANOVA.
• Strong knowledge of Process FMEAs, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.
• Must be able to work on-site in Foster City, CA; up to 40% domestic/international travel required.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CQE from ASQ, Six Sigma Green Belt, or certified Quality Systems Auditor.
• Experience working with Google Workspace.
