What you will do

• Lead supplier quality engineering initiatives to drive cost reduction, risk mitigation, and part quality improvement.
• Support supplier and contract manufacturer selection, development, and performance improvement to ensure on-time delivery.
• Execute Product Quality Plans (PQP) by reviewing and auditing process flows, pFMEAs, control plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Plan and conduct risk-based supplier audits to identify improvement opportunities and drive sustainable corrective actions.
• Lead risk mitigation during pre-production and new product introduction (NPI) phases to ensure robust supplier readiness.
• Define and implement effective supplier outgoing quality controls and incoming inspection strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in high-technology or precision manufacturing environments.
• Proven success applying structured problem-solving and root-cause corrective action methodologies (e.g., 8D, A3, DMAIC).
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (~20%).

Nice to have

• ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQM/OE, Certified Quality Auditor, or RAB Lead Auditor.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Experience supporting electro-mechanical commodities and/or complex supply chains.
