Supplier Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure all regulations and requirements are met.
• Implement and manage the Vendor Management program and supporting performance metrics.
• Create and promote quality control guidelines, protocols, and strategies to increase system efficiency.
• Conduct audits of supplier management quality systems and visit vendor facilities.
• Perform risk assessments using PFMEA, Six Sigma, 5S, FOD Prevention, and Kaizen.
• Act as a liaison between vendors and company leadership to determine solutions to quality challenges.

Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant field with professional work experience.
• Experience utilizing Infor Syteline ERP systems.
• Foundational understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Materials Engineering.
• Knowledge of UL, CSA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Jacksonville, Florida.
