TL;DR

Therapeutic Specialist (Northern Houston): Develop, lead, and execute sales plans with specific goals to maximize growth in the rare disease market with an accent on product promotion, customer relationships, and competitive landscape. Focus on engaging HCPs and thought leaders, analyzing market data, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.

Location: Fully remote, field-based position in Northern Houston territory covering Bryan/College Station, Waco, and Lufkin/Nacogdoches. Frequent travel up to 30% within the territory required.

Salary: $155,000–$201,500 Annual

What you will do

  • Maintain deep knowledge of disease states, products, customers, and competitive landscape in orphan/rare and specialty drug markets.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve growth targets while fostering trust, respect, and compliance.
  • Build relationships with HCPs and thought leaders, allocating time and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners like Market Access and Patient Support to meet business goals.
  • Analyze data to inform strategic planning and demonstrate business acumen in exceeding territory results.
  • Perform all business activities in accordance with regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years of biotech/pharma product promotion experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching products and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to influence cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high learning agility and scientific acumen.
  • Portfolio selling experience, specialty/rare-orphan disease background, and Pulmonary/Infectious Disease partnerships preferred.

  • Experience working compliantly in patient support models.
