What you will do

• Lead interconnection strategy and execution for utility-scale BESS, solar, and hybrid projects across North American power markets.
• Manage the full interconnection lifecycle, including site screening, queue positioning, application submission, and agreement execution.
• Review and interpret power system studies (load flow, stability, deliverability) to provide actionable commercial and investment recommendations.
• Coordinate and manage interactions with utilities and ISO/RTOs throughout all study phases.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure grid compliance and successful project energization.
• Develop standardized tools and best practices for evaluating interconnection opportunities across multiple markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in interconnection, transmission planning, or grid integration.
• Deep experience with ISO/RTO interconnection processes, with ERCOT strongly preferred.
• Proficiency using power system modeling tools such as PSS®E, PowerWorld, or PSCAD.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and E-Verify.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
