TL;DR

Loan Partner (Mortgage): Accurately setting up purchase applications, issuing pre-approvals, processing and disclosing loans from contract to close with an accent on cash, credit, and income verification. Focus on ensuring 95% on-time closings, TRID compliance, and outstanding borrower experience while managing multiple loans and deadlines.

Location: Melville, NY office operating within Eastern Standard Time Zone to support East Coast region.

Salary: Hourly Rate $27.00 - $30.00 (bonus eligible).

What you will do

• Serve as primary contact between borrowers, loan officers, managers, and third parties.
• Review loan applications, verify cash/credit/income qualifications, and track documents in Encompass within 24 hours.
• Issue accurate pre-approvals, disclose loans TRID-compliant, and provide updates to borrowers and realtors.
• Handle payment scenarios, onboard contracts, and ensure 95% loans close on time via daily checks and pipeline calls.
• Communicate red flags, meet deadlines (e.g., documents to title 3 days before closing), and escalate issues as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service and adapt to varying hours/OT if required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years current conventional fixed/ARM, HELOC, construction mortgage loan processing/origination experience.
• State/Federal NMLS License preferred.
• Experience with RESPA, lending regulations, loan documents, major investors’ guidelines, and Encompass.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and analysis skills for cash/credit/income.
• Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Office, Windows; adaptable to new tech.
