TL;DR

Sr. Default Associate (Fintech): Managing claims, invoice processing, and corporate advances within the Default Servicing department with an accent on reconciliation and regulatory compliance. Focus on automating financial processes in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to optimize recovery and minimize losses.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $34.73 – $46.99 per hour

What you will do

  • Process and manage vendor invoices and payments for delinquency and default areas adhering to company policies.
  • Verify invoice accuracy against Investor, Insurer, and Agency guidelines such as Freddie Mac, FNMA, FHA, and VA.
  • Oversee offshore vendors, monitor their performance, and issue vendor scorecards.
  • Reconcile corporate advance data files from prior servicers and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define system requirements for automating invoice and corporate advance processes.
  • Facilitate audit requests and provide monthly MBR and trending reports.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Invoice management, Corporate Advance Management, or Default Accounting.
  • Experience developing and managing complex processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including V-lookup.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
