What you will do

• Assemble mechanical components of wind turbines using hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes.
• Follow work instructions and engineering drawings for accurate builds, torquing, alignment, and fit-up.
• Conduct safety inspections, maintain clean work area, and handle materials.
• Exceed production benchmarks and support team objectives.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams on process improvements, audits, and root cause analysis.
• Assist electrical assembly and other production areas as needed.

Requirements

• Speak and understand English fluently to communicate safety and job information.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical certifications or technical training; 3+ years in mechanical assembly or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with wind turbine, automotive, or industrial equipment assembly.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints, use torque tools, cranes (certification required), and work at heights.
• Pass respiratory fit test; commitment to safety protocols.
