What you will do

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical component maintenance and repairs on wind turbines.
  • Troubleshoot SCADA communication systems and complex problems (Levels II/III).
  • Document work, parts, and time using computer-based reporting.
  • Operate service vehicles, maintain tools, and work flexible on-call schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Train lower-level technicians, lead crews, and perform balance of plant work (Levels II/III).

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
  • High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred for higher levels).
  • Able to climb towers up to 300 feet unassisted and work in confined spaces and adverse weather.
  • Valid driver’s license with good record; mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
  • Experience: 6 months to 3 years wind turbine experience depending on level.
  • Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, hand tools, and Microsoft Word/Excel.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in SAP.
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
