What you will do

• Assemble custom box-making machines and related equipment based on assembly drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly involving rotating shafts, gear trains, sprockets, and mechanical structures.
• Use precision measuring instruments to align, level, and ensure accuracy, squareness, and concentricity.
• Plan assembly tasks in the proper sequence to meet production and quality requirements.
• Identify and report defective material or unusual conditions encountered during the build process.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings to resolve production, quality, or cost issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, or related mechanical roles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment.
