What you will do

• Supervise and mentor counselors in training, providing feedback and conducting case record reviews.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans while maintaining comprehensive records.
• Lead treatment team meetings and coordinate care with community providers.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accrediting agencies.
• Handle crisis interventions and provide in-service training on addiction treatment trends.

Requirements

• Must have a Master's degree in Human services or a related field.
• Active LCSW, LPC, LSATP, or LMFT license required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Newport News, VA.
• Strong knowledge of human behavior and the rehabilitation of drug-dependent patients.
• Proficiency in decision-making and handling sensitive issues in high-stress situations.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with office equipment.
