TL;DR

People Operations Specialist (Health & Wellness): Own and coordinate critical People Operations functions across onboarding, employee experience, compliance, HR systems, project coordination, and performance support with an accent on seamless employee lifecycle management and operational efficiency. Focus on proactively improving processes, leveraging AI tools for automation, and driving accountability in a fast-paced remote environment.

Location: Fully remote, must be based in LATAM, Central America, or the Caribbean with availability 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end onboarding process including documentation, system setup, orientation, and 30/60/90-day follow-ups.
  • Manage HR operations, compliance, employee lifecycle events, and documentation workflows.
  • Support employee relations, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and manager accountability.
  • Drive People & Culture projects using tools like Asana, ensuring timely execution and visibility.
  • Create HR content, SOPs, training materials, and use AI for workflow improvements and reporting.
  • Coordinate employee engagement events, perks, and off-sites.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in HR, People Operations, HRBP, HR Generalist, or People & Culture roles
  • Excellent spoken and written English (professional-level fluency)
  • Experience supporting remote/global teams and EST hours (8AM-6PM)
  • Strong onboarding, employee lifecycle, and relations experience
  • HR systems like BambooHR, project management, AI tools (Claude/ChatGPT), Google Workspace
  • High ownership, critical thinking, organization in fast-paced independent environment
